Welcome to YSiteStatus. It is part of a larger project that organizes websites alphabetically, with this section focused on domains that start with or include the letter "Y". All checks are performed from a server based in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany.
YSiteStatus (Y Site Status) is an independent web monitoring platform launched in 2024. It was created to solve a common issue — users often cannot tell whether a website is down globally or only unavailable on their side.
The service is designed to offer a simple and direct way to perform checks without registration or complicated setup.
The platform is useful for developers, website owners, system administrators, and everyday users who need a quick answer about website availability.
It can be used both for troubleshooting and for basic accessibility checks.
Checks are performed on demand when a user submits a request. The system attempts to connect to the target website using different protocols and domain variations, including versions with and without “www”.
This method helps detect cases where a website may respond under one configuration but fail under another. Each request is analyzed to determine response status and timing.
The main goal of YSiteStatus is to provide a clear and reliable understanding of what is happening when a website is not responding. Instead of guessing, users can rely on actual response data.
Since its launch, YSiteStatus has processed availability data for more than 2,058,000 websites. The system collects key technical indicators such as HTTP response codes, response time, total number of checks, uptime statistics, downtime events, and error responses.
This makes it possible to evaluate both the current status of a website and its long-term reliability.
As the number of websites continues to grow, organizing them efficiently becomes increasingly important. This project is part of a larger system where domains are grouped alphabetically, helping improve navigation and scalability.
In addition to individual checks, the platform also analyzes broader usage patterns. Every 24 hours, a global activity map is generated, showing which regions are making the most availability check requests.
This project is developed and maintained by an independent developer with experience in building reliable and scalable web tools.
The focus is on maintaining stability, improving accuracy, and continuously developing the platform.
The platform is regularly updated to improve performance and data consistency. However, website availability may change at any moment, so real-time accuracy cannot always be guaranteed.
